2010/2011 PTDF M.SC OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP LIST
Sequel to the aptitude test conducted in various centres nationwide on Saturday, March 20, 2010 for the selection of candidates for the award of PTDF 2010/2011 Overseas Scholarship I M.Sc category, the Petroleum Technology Development Fund wishes to inform the general public particularly those who sat for the aptitude, that the list of successful candidates for the award has been posted on our website www.ptdf.gov.ng The candidates whose names appeared on the list have been confirm worthy of the 2010/2011 PTDF Overseas Scholarship Award (M.Sc)
The breakdown is as follows:
- 9 awards for each state in the order of performance at the aptitude test = 324
- 3 awards for FCT = 3
- 4 additional awards for each of the 9 oil endowed states = 36
47 candidates whose awards were deferred last year due to no fault of theirs are accommodated in the 2010/2011 awards while another 40 awards are for Nigerians who are already working in government owned agencies within the oil and gas industry.
In this regard, total of 450 awards have been made in respect of the 2010/2011 PTDF Overseas Scholarship Award (M.Sc). Please note that deferred candidates and industry awards are not on the published list.

they are not doing us a favour…afterall is it not our oil money? Good work anyway in the history of Nigeria at least I have seen a lil support from the country.
Trust me, no words are enough to express what the ptdf are doing. But it’s never a crime, if at all the number of successful candidates are increased. I think the money & resourses are there.
Please i want to know when the next application would take place.

There are scholarships for Africans to study in their home country (Nigeria) or overseas countries. Visit http://www.eduafri.com for the addresses (online and physical) and info on how to apply. Many of these scholarships are Africans and other developing countries. One of the criteria is inability to pay fees
This site also provide other information for NGO funding, conference attendance funding, internship , Postgraduate research info etc

last year i was among the successful student for overseas the board posted me in morroco and often now they didnot call me idnt know y pls someone should help me out.
