Nigeria LNG, the global LNG company renowned for its operational excellence seeks the services of class Teachers for immediate employment for initial period of 5 years with possible extension. These positions are to be based in Bonny Nigeria.

Job Title: Class Teachers

Location: Bonny

Position 1:  Montessori Trained Nursery Teacher REF: HRP/2010/001
Job Description: The appointee will be required to create and teach 3 and 4 year old pupils in a conducive learning environment.

Position 2: Physical Education Teacher REF: HRP/2010/002
Job Description: The appointee will be required to teach physical education as well as assist in coordinating sporting activities in the school.

Position 3. Mathematics Class Teacher REF: HRP/2010/003
Job Description: The appointee will be required to teach mathematics based on Nigerian curriculum and create a conducive learning environment within the classroom.

Position 4:  English Class Teacher REF: HRP/2010/004
Job Description: The appointee will be required to teach English Language based on Nigerian Curriculum and create a conducive learning environment within the classroom.

Position 5: Information Communication Technology (ICT) Teacher REF: HRP/2010/005
Job Description: The appointee will be required to teach ICT across streams and create a conducive learning environment within the classroom.

Position 6: Home Economics Teacher REF: HRP/2010/006
Job Description: The appointee will be required to teach Home Economics based on the Nigerian curriculum and create a conducive learning environment within the classroom.

Position 7: Islamic Religious Knowledge Teacher REF: HRP/2010/007
Job Description: The appointee will be required to teach Islamic Religion based on the Nigerian curriculum and create a conducive learning environment within the classroom.

Position 8:  Swimming Instructor REF: HRP/2010/008
Job Description: The appointee will be required to practically teach swimming and create a safe and conducive learning environment during lessons.

Position 9:  Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher REF: HRP/2010/009
Job Description: The appointee will be required to provide support for Special Education Needs (SEN) children as well teach English as an Additional Language (EAL) to children of Dutch stream and International stream.

The Person
The right candidate for the above mentioned class teacher positions should:
• Possess in the relevant fields either a Bachelors degree in Education (2nd Class Upper Division and above), or a BSc/BA (2nd Class Upper Division and above) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education or a BSc/BA (2nd Class Upper Division and above) with an NCE.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the required field.
• Possess supervisory, coaching and class management skills.
• Not more than 40 years old.
• Possess swimming skills as an added advantage (for the Physical Education Teacher only).
• Possess either a HUET Diver Certificate or a BOSSIET Certificate (for the Swimming Instructor only)

The Duties

The duties for all class teachers will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Prepare class work and teach pupils all assigned subjects.
• Inculcate sound moral character in the pupils.
• Prepare, issue and discuss pupils report with their parents.
