Location: This position is located at our Lagos Office. The Head Agent Sales will work very closely with the Team in Nigeria, USA or as may be determined by the company.
Job Description Head Agent Sales:
The position of Head Agent Sales involves overseeing not just sales personnel but also being in charge of maximizing potential sales in all the markets, and keeping good contacts with VTN Master Agents/Agents and Super Agents.
The position requires business travels to meet Master agents and clients either to prospect for new agent relationship or coordinate the affairs of the existing Master Agents and Super Agents.
The other main task of Head Agent Sales is to meet his/ her sales target, which can be quarterly, twice a year or once a year.
To achieve this, you will be called upon to create a marketing campaign as well as engage in public relations. Since this is a senior level position, the Head Agent Sales requires someone with at least five years of experience in a managerial position and has to be an effective communicator, good at negotiation and be able to multi-task.
All internal departments responsible for sales report to the Head Agent Sales.
Responsibilities of Head Agent Sales:
·Identify, target and maintain relationships with prospective and existing Master Agents and Super Agents
·Build sales forecast and implement
·Work with VP product development to drive sales volumes
·Liaise closely with other colleagues to push business forward
·Provide the company with weekly status reports
·Present to the company in weekly meetings list of successes and failures
·Attend new business pitches to represent company
·Lead RFP process with multiple cross business matrix
·Create, amend, and update sales collateral
·Travel to Master Agents and Super Agent offices to enquire about progress
.Conduct regular meetings with department heads to ensure that priorities are
clear and coordination is good.
.Ensure activities comply with organizational requirements for quality
management, legal stipulations, and general duty of care.
.Facilitate resolution of issues between departments.
.Take charge in high-priority crises.
