A fast growing Mortgage Institution located in Lagos requires the service of well experienced personnel for employment in the below capacity.

JOB POSITION: COMPANY SECRETARY/LEGAL ADVISER (REF: CS/LA/2012/001)

QUALIFICATION:
LLB; B.L; (LLM is an added advantage)

EXPERIENCE:
Post qualification experience of 7-10 years out of which four years must be in a financial institution

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ensuring all statutory compliances under the companies act;
Conducting board and shareholders’ meeting; preparing agenda, notices and minutes of board and shareholders meeting.
Sound knowledge about the transfer of title documents in all key areas like Lagos, Ogun, Port-Harcourt, Auja;
Expert in drafting and vetting of agreement, memorandum of understandings, memorandum and articles of association
Good understanding of the company act guiding incorporation of companies.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Very strong managerial and leadership skills
Sound credit and marketing skill
Knowledge of financial services sector
Strong business sense.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
