Please read  the instruction and qualification requirement:

SECTION A

·  Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth
·  Applicants are to be recruited in their Zones.
·  Applicants must be between the age of 18 and 22 years for Non-Tradesmen/women and 26 years for Tradesmen/women at the time of entry into the Depot NA. For female Applicants, possession of Nursing, Catering, Computer Operations etc certificates has added advantage.
·  Applicants must be medically and physically fit and must not be less than 1.65meters tall for men and 1.63meters for women.
·  Applicants must be free of any Criminal conviction.
·  Applicants must submit all duly completed forms (printed from online portal) at the exam venue on the date of the exam.

The Printed forms shall be accompanied with the following documents

  • Photocopies of Birth Certificate/Age Declaration
  • Photocopies of academic and professional Certificates.
  • A letter of Identification signed by the identifying officer in Section F of the downloaded Certification form.
  • Applicants shall be required to produce the originals of all certificates/Credentials and Online Registration Scratch Card purchased during the screening exercise.
  • Any applicant suspected to have impersonated, manipulated or submitted false documents shall be disqualified during or after training. Such an applicant shall also be handed over to the Police for Prosecution.
  • Candidates whose pictures are not submitted electronically will not be considered for shortlisting.
  • The Nigerian Army Shall not entertain any enquires in respect of applicants whose applications are rejected or failed to meet the selection criteria.

B3 COMMUNICATION SSCE/NECO with 3 credits in English Language, Maths and Physics and passes in 2 other subjects.
C1 DRIVER National Technical Certificate (NTC), SSCE/NECO with 2 credits including English Language, Trade Test, Current Drivers License, 2 years driving experience as well as letter of recommendation (as driver) from past or present employer is required.
C2 COOK/STEWARD SSCE/NECO with 3 credits including English Language, Home Economics/Food Nutrition and passes in 2 other subjects. Certificate or proven experience as a Waiter or Steward is an advantage.
D1 MEDICAL RECORDS/HEALTH ADMINISTRATION OND/Professional qualification in Medical Records or Health Administration (at least lower credit). The Candidate must also posses SSCE/NECO with 4 credits including English Language, Maths Biology/Health Science.

1.   Financial Controller:
-   Ideal candidate should be able to establish operating guidelines, procedures and performance standards
-   Should be able to identify weakness in the finance control system and advises management on control measures
-   Should be able to establish the adequacy of management policies
-   Ensuring compliance with laid down financial control system
-   Review, appraise, evaluate and verify the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting, financial and other operating controls and procedures

Requirement: B.sc or HND in accounting or related field, a master’s degree will be an advantage and also should have a least 5 years work experience in the same or related field

2.   Store manager: interested candidate should possess university degree in accounting or related field; a master’s degree will be an advantage and should have at least 5 years work experience in the same field
3.   Logistic manager: interested candidate must have full knowledge of logistic operations. Bsc or HND with at least 5 years experience as a transport manager
4.   Procurement officer: the procurement officer will support the manager in the running of an efficient procurement system for the company

Requirement: possession of a first degree in purchasing & supply or related discipline. Minimum of 3 years work experience in the same or related field. Should have good negotiation and interpersonal skill. Must be result-oriented and able to work with minimum supervision

5.   Stores officer: the candidate should possess HND or B.sc in accounts and have at least 3 years experience in store keeping

HR Executive, Marketing – Reporting to the HR Business Partner.

Principal Accountabilities:

* Proactively review existing HR policies and procedures to ensure they are always relevant to current needs; educate line management/employees on these for them to properly understand their objectives and relevance to them and the Company; and ensure they are implemented accordingly.
* Carry out manpower planning to ensure ready availability of talent to fill roles (both from within and outside the Company) with minimum downtime.
* Run/participate in interviews and assessment/development centres and determines assessment and selection tools to ensure effective recruitment and selection.
* Participate in ensuring all employees fully understand their roles and have/see a clear line-of-sight.
* Act as a professional advisor to employee/management on people issues.
* Participate in ensuring grievance and disciplinary procedures and practices are fair and transparent and are carried out accordingly through an active participation.
* Participate in ensuring our remuneration policies, procedures and practices are applied equitably.
* Provide guidance to Line Management to take the development of their teams as top priority.
* Provide guidance to line Management in ensuring the development is driven by properly developed, reviewed and implemented development plans.
* Provide guidance to line Management in ensuring that the work ethic within Marketing is driven by the Guiding Principles.
* Encourage line management to use robust communication as a vehicle to build trust, openness and understanding within and across their teams.
* Participate in ensuring line management embraces a culture of learning that proactively encourages sharing knowledge, experience etc within and across teams in order to build possible successors.
* Participate in ensuring team is efficient and effective in carrying out day-to-day administrative responsibilities.
* Provide guidance in ensuring an effective allocation of resources to deliver on priorities.
* Provide team with feedback on their performance on regular formal/informal bases.
* Monitor the performance of the factory clinic and ensure it is run effectively.
* Support employees/line management to understand how BAT performance management system works and that line management carries out performance appraisals effectively.
* Participate and facilitate TRMs, ensure feedback is provided and TRM decisions are followed through.
* Identify and develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally (E.g. Labour authorities), to ensure we are at no time in violation of any rules or regulations as it relates to our people.
* Ensure HR excellence by being in touch with HR best practice in the BAT world and among comparator companies.
* To exemplify BATN as an employer of choice.
* Develop & implement people-focused initiatives that would increase motivation and enhance performance.
* Encourage innovativeness in employees and assist line managers to encourage such.
