POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY COMPUTER-BASED SCREENING EXERCISE FOR UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2011/2012 ACADEMIC SESSION

All candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure as first or/and second choice and obtained a minimum score of 200 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in April, 2010 are invited for computer-based screening exercise in the University from Wednesday, 17th August to Friday, 19th August, 2011.

Candidates who applied to University of Uyo as their 1st choice University for the 2010/2011 Direct Entry Admission are hereby informed that the screening exercise organized for them will take place as follows:

To be eligible, candidates are expected to possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in their SSCE or equivalent in the subjects relevant to the programmes of their 1st choice including English Language. They should in addition, have OND, NCE, HND or first Degree. Admission will be conducted into the following faculties.

SCREENING OF POST-UTME CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION INTO THE UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR FOR THE 2010/2011 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all candidates who have chosen University of Calabar as their First Choice in their application for admission into the University for the 2010/2011 Academic Session. The post-UTME screening exercise has been scheduled to take place from Friday 20^th August Saturday 21^th August, 2010.

Eligibility:
All candidates who meet the cut-off point scores as indicated against each academic programme in the relevant column are eligible to participate in the post-UTME screening exercise.

This is to invite all candidates who chose Nasarawa State University as their First and Second Choice and who scored 180 and above in the April, 2010 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB to the Screening Exercise of the University. The exercise will take place in the University at 10:00am on the dates indicated against the faculty of their choice listed below.

Candidates should be at their assigned Venues at 8:00am prompt.

All candidates who chose Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) as their first choice university and have satisfied the following pre-requisites are eligible to attend the screening exercise which is scheduled to take place on 3rd ,4th , 5th and 7th August, 2010 at 8.00 a.m each day.

1. Candidates who scored 180 and above in UTME for science based courses;
2. Candidates who scored 190 and above in UTME for Arts, Social Science, Law and administration;
3. All candidates who fall within the cut off point in (a) and (b) above must have the prescribed subject combination in the UTME examination as required by their proposed courses of study (information as contained in the JAMB brochure for UME candidates)
